We are looking for an accountant for one of our clients in Najaf. This is a great opportunity for fresh or recent graduates who are looking to start their career by learning the best practices and getting introduced to SaaS-based industries.
Reporting to the finance head, you’ll be working independently as part of a friendly multi-regional team.
This job will give you the opportunity to learn and acquire new skills that can be very useful for your career, including Odoo ERP’s accounting system, advanced Excel, and financial reporting.
Here’s what you will do:
- Maintain the accounting records of the assigned branches
- Record accounting entries as per the finance policies and procedures manual
- Oversee collection reports
- Support in monthly closing
- Prepare bank reconciliation and cash counts
To join this, you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Past work experience (preferred but not necessary)
- Understanding accounting principles
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Fluency in Arabic with working proficiency in English
